About Me

I absolutely love being a yoga teacher! Currently I teach Hatha and Pregnancy Yoga here in Bicester (OX26) and am always excited to meet new students and give them the space to explore their love to yoga.

I discovered Yoga early on in university and was instantly intrigued. Fast forward a good few years, in 2018, I found the path back to Yoga through a difficult time in my life. A time where I had to re-evaluate my lifestyle as well as my working life. I have a Congenital Heart Defect as well as Endometriosis, which forced me to slow down and be more aware and conscious of my health.

Having gone through several surgeries and still recovering at that time, I found the motivation in Yoga to get better, physically as well as mentally.

I instantly knew that from there onwards I wanted to help others find their passion to yoga and seek the benefits from yoga as I did. Practicing Yoga helped me immensely in my recovery process and realised that it is much more than just a physical practice.

— Tara Stiles

Practicing Yoga for me means a way of reducing stress, being more focused and more compassionate to others. Most recent research even shows that by doing Yoga and meditating, we are more likely to learn more efficiently, have better memory, being more compassionate as well as being able to be more creative and to reduce stress.

For me, Yoga is not about being more flexible, it is about building up strength, physically as well as mentally. Yoga is about the balance between effort and ease, on and off the mat. It is about finding your inner calm and strength. My Yoga classes are held in a non- competitive, warm and inviting environment, where everyone is welcome. I teach Hatha Yoga with strength and mobility work which focuses on the individuals needs. I also teach Pre and Postnatal Yoga with Baby Yoga and Massage. I love to share my love to Yoga with you, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns or would like to join me on the mat.
